Mariah Carey - Bye Bye

this is such a great song! a song that makes me think about the people who came in and outta my life.. and how much they meant to me. When I listen to this song it makes me feel heartened.. and that no matter what happens, be it losing someone (i.e. friends? or relatives that i've lost), there's always something to smile about, really! thus i must say that Mariah Carey is an inspiration to me :)

had dim sum with my boss at this yam cha restaurant along chinatown this afternoon and am helping out at my mom's office now.. can only do light stuff though, coz of my wrist:( hmm one or two more days of packing before the company's moving to the new apartment(it's gonna be for corporate use). will miss this location though.. Marina House, and the security guard.. gee..

daddy's comin back from Japan tonight! and my mom just asked him to buy a list of stuff back coz she's now into nihon no ryori(japanese food) more than ever b4. and now she wants to teach my maid how to prepare a shimmered dish.. she just learnt how to prepare it ytd from uncle yamamoto's (he's my mom's client) wife, when we dropped by their apartment to collect some documents. umm, it's some veg with toppings. the restaurant serves that as appetizer. yea.

sth random: i really really like ikura! it's salmon egg.. (it looks like the bigger version of those tiny orange ebiko-prawn egg or tobiko-flying fish egg). too bad the restaurant doesnt have that.. but the chefs know i like it so they'll always add extra tobiko egg into my sushi roll if they're making one fer me. yummmm!!!! and i like sashimi too! clement's fav. wasabi's a must. finally, it's v v easy to make chawanmushi.. can experiment different ingredients too. but, do not ever add cheese, coz last year i tried it for clem and myself and it actually turned out quite bad.
